SnowCap plugs into a standard power source, and the cord will be 7.2ft (2.2m) long. 👍Yep regular household plug. The power cord will not be retractable. The main reason for this is we want to minimize moving parts as much as possible. Moving parts are more prone to wear and tear, we want SnowCap going the distance for you legends!
SnowCap has a built in particular filter and UVC water purification.. We recommend changing the water every two weeks. We recommend rinsing and scrubbing the filter every water change, and replacing the filter element every three months.
SnowCap is ingress protected to an IP44 level, meaning is splash proof and can be stored outside even in the rain. Additionally, all high-voltage components within snowcap are sealed to an IP67 (submersible) standard for electrical safety. We don't advise leaving in direct sunlight as it will impact the efficiency of cooling.
SnowCap can achieve a temperature of 35°F (2°C) in an environment with an ambient temperature of 25 degrees Celsius.
